Sintra Board Signs

Sintra board is expanded PVC — a rigid, lightweight plastic panel that will not warp, rot or absorb water. Printed full color on 3mm Sintra in 18 sizes, single or double-sided, with optional corner grommets. Same-business-day production available.

Choose your print sides

• Printed 1 sided (4/0) — color front, white back, for panels fixed to a wall or a post.
• Printed 2 sided (4/4) — different artwork each face, for projecting or hanging signs.
• Printed 2 sided — same image — identical both faces, for two-directional signage.

Choose your grommet option

• No grommets — for panels mounted with VHB tape, standoffs or screws through drilled holes.
• Top 2 corners — hanging from hooks or a bracket.
• All 4 corners — fastening flat to a post, fence or frame at every corner.

Sintra versus the alternatives

Sintra is what sign shops reach for when a job needs to look permanent. Compared with coroplast it has a smooth, professional surface and far better rigidity. Compared with foam board it is fully weatherproof and much harder to dent. Compared with aluminum it is lighter and cheaper, though aluminum wins on ultimate lifespan and rigidity at large sizes.

Typical uses: building and suite identification, directional and wayfinding signage, parking and property notices, retail fascia panels, restaurant menu boards, and construction site information boards.

Mounting Sintra so it stays flat

Expanded PVC expands and contracts with temperature more than metal does. On outdoor panels over 24" wide, fasten with screws through slightly oversized holes and finish washers rather than clamping it rigidly at every point — that lets the panel move a fraction without buckling. Indoors, VHB tape or standoff hardware is enough. Store and transport panels flat.
