Pull-Up Banner — Black Base
Pull-Up Banner — Black Base
The same 33" x 81" retractable banner with a black anodized base — for booths and stages where silver hardware would stand out. Full color on 13oz matte vinyl, complete with stand, pole and carry bag. Next-business-day production available.
- Black anodized base that visually disappears against dark carpet, dark walls and stage floors
- 33" x 81" print area — standard trade show and lobby footprint
- Matte vinyl finish — no glare under booth spotlights or on camera
- Stand, pole and carry bag included
- Tool-free setup in under a minute
Silver base or black base?
Functionally they are identical — same banner, same mechanism, same size. The choice is purely visual. Silver reads as neutral and slightly technical, and blends into light-colored booths and exhibition carpet. Black recedes almost completely against dark surroundings, which is why conference stages, dark-themed booths, restaurants and event venues generally specify it. If your banners will sit alongside other black display hardware, black keeps the whole setup looking intentional.
For the silver version see the silver base pull-up banner.
Getting the layout right
Treat the banner as three bands. The top third carries the logo and headline and is the only part visible over a standing crowd. The middle third holds your three or four supporting lines, read by someone who has stopped at your booth. The bottom foot is regularly hidden by furniture and people — keep contact details and QR codes above that line, ideally at chest height where a phone camera can reach them easily.
Supply artwork at 33" x 81", 100–150 DPI, CMYK, with 2" of additional image at the bottom to be taken up by the cassette and 2" of safe margin at each side.
Looking after a retractable banner
Always retract it slowly — letting the spring snap the banner back is the most common cause of a crooked or creased rewind. Carry it in the supplied bag rather than loose in a vehicle, and store it upright. If the graphic gets marked, wipe with a barely damp cloth; solvents will lift the print.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Answers about artwork, production and ordering.
What comes with the pull-up banner?
Everything needed to stand it up: the 33" x 81" banner printed on 13oz matte vinyl, the silver aluminium base with the spring-loaded roller inside, the telescoping pole and a carry bag. There is nothing else to buy and no tools to assemble. Between events the banner retracts fully into the base, so it travels without creasing, scuffing or collecting dust the way a rolled banner does.
How do I set up a pull-up banner?
Stand the base on the floor, pull the top rail up, and drop it onto the telescoping pole that clicks into the back of the base. No tools, under a minute. To pack down, unhook the rail and let the banner retract — slowly. Letting the spring snap it back is the main cause of a crooked or creased rewind.
How should I lay out a pull-up banner?
Think in thirds. The top third carries the logo and headline and is the only part visible over a standing crowd. The middle third holds three or four short supporting lines. Keep the bottom foot free of anything essential, because tables, chairs and people block it constantly. Add 2" of extra image at the bottom for the cassette.
