A-frame signs put your message on the sidewalk, where the people walking past your door actually are. Printed full color on 4mm coroplast in 18" x 24" or 36" x 24", supplied as a pair of panels for a two-sided A-frame. Ready the next business day.

Choose your printing option
- Same image both signs — identical artwork on both panels. The standard choice: whichever direction someone walks from, they get the same message.
- Different image each sign — two separate designs. Useful when the two directions have genuinely different context: "Open — come in" facing the approach, and a menu or a thank-you facing the way people leave. Also useful for a bilingual street, or for splitting a lunch offer and a dinner offer.
Choose your size
- 18" x 24" — the classic sidewalk size. Fits standard A-frame hardware, tucks against a wall, and is light enough for staff to carry out every morning and back in every night.
- 36" x 24" — a wide landscape panel with room for a real menu, a price list or several lines of copy. Better where people slow down or stop, such as outside a cafe or a market stall.
Making a sidewalk sign work
Sidewalk signs are read by people already walking past, from about ten feet away, in about two seconds. That means one clear idea, not five. The most effective A-frames name the thing and the price — "Espresso $3 before 9am" — rather than describing the business, which people can see for themselves because they are standing in front of it.
Bring it in at night. A-frames are the most commonly stolen and most commonly wind-damaged piece of signage a business owns, and both problems disappear if the sign sleeps inside.

These are printed panels, not complete units. If you do not already have A-frame hardware, order A-frame stands in the matching size. Because the panels are the consumable part and the frame is not, you can refresh your message seasonally for the price of two printed sheets.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Do A-frame signs come with the frame?
No — these are the printed coroplast panels. If you do not already have hardware, order A-frame stands in the matching size. Buying them separately is deliberate: the frame lasts for years, so refreshing your sidewalk message later costs only the price of two printed sheets.
How do I stop my A-frame blowing over?
An open A-frame catches wind on both faces. Weight the bottom rail with a sandbag or water weight on exposed sidewalks, and angle the frame so its narrow edge faces the prevailing wind. Bring it in overnight — that removes the two most common causes of loss, wind damage and theft. Check your local sidewalk width rules before placing one.
