Choose your cling size

• 3.5" x 2" — accepted-payment marks, association logos, small door notices.
• 4" x 6" — the standard notice size for hours, policies and delivery partners.
• 3.5" x 8.5" — vertical strip that fits the narrow glass panel beside a door.
• 5.5" x 8.5" — half-sheet promotion, readable from the sidewalk.
• 8.5" x 11" — full-sheet announcement for a sale, a new service or a seasonal message.
• 11" x 17" — storefront graphic sized to be read from a passing car.

When opaque beats clear

Choose opaque any time contrast matters more than see-through. A white base means a red sale price stays red instead of picking up the color of the shelf behind it, and white lettering actually appears white rather than disappearing into the glass. Photography, gradients and brand colors all reproduce the way they do on paper.

The tradeoff is that the cling blocks the view through that part of the window. If your window doubles as a product display and you want shoppers to see inside, clear window clings keep the glass transparent around your artwork.

Getting a clean, bubble-free application

Clean and fully dry the glass first — static will not hold to a film of cleaner or dust. Peel the cling off its liner, set one edge down, and smooth across the face with a flat hand to push the air out ahead of you. If a bubble remains, lift the nearest corner and re-lay that section rather than pressing on the bubble.

Mount on the inside face of the window when possible so the cling is shielded from rain, sun and passers-by. When the promotion ends, peel it off, lay it back on its liner or any smooth sheet, and keep it flat and out of direct sun until the next time you need it.
