Gloss laminated vs. high-gloss UV — what's the difference?
High-Gloss (UV) cards have a shiny coating on 14pt stock; gloss laminated cards seal thicker 16pt stock in a protective film — more durable, more substantial.
Will the lamination peel?
No — the laminate is heat-bonded to the card and won't lift with normal use.
Is there a matte version?
Yes — Silk Matte Business Cards, the glare-free twin of this card.
Can I write on it?
Laminate resists ink. If you need a writable back, choose front-only lamination or see Writable Business Cards.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

How long do gloss laminated business cards take?
Lamination adds a step, so standard production runs 4–5 business days — with next-business-day rush available when you need cards fast.
Can I laminate just the front of the card?
Yes — choose gloss lamination on both sides, or front only to keep an uncoated back for notes. Either way the 16pt stock gets sealed protection where it's laminated.
Are gloss laminated cards waterproof?
They're highly water-resistant — rain and spills wipe clean off the laminate. For a fully waterproof card, our plastic business cards are the step up.
