Glossy Adhesive Vinyl
Glossy Adhesive Vinyl
Glossy adhesive vinyl is a printed sticker at signage scale — stick it to glass, walls, doors, vehicles or equipment and it stays put. Full color on adhesive vinyl in 26 sizes, ready in 4 to 5 business days.
- Pressure-sensitive adhesive vinyl — a permanent bond on smooth, clean surfaces
- Glossy finish for maximum color depth and a wet-look shine
- 26 sizes from 6" x 24" strips up to 24" x 36" and larger panels
- Conforms to slight curves — doors, panels, vehicle bodywork
- Ready in 4 to 5 business days
Where adhesive vinyl is the right answer
Window and door graphics, storefront hours and logos, vehicle door and tailgate lettering, equipment and machine labeling, wall graphics on smooth painted surfaces, and floor-standing display panels that need a printed face. Anywhere you want a graphic to look like it is part of the surface rather than something hung on it.
Vinyl beats a rigid sign in two situations: when the surface is already there and you just need it printed on, and when the graphic has to follow a shape a flat panel could not.
Permanent, removable, or see-through?
- Glossy adhesive vinyl — permanent bond, solid opaque graphic, brightest color. Choose it when the graphic is staying.
- Removable wall decals — lower-tack adhesive designed to peel off cleanly. Choose it for interiors, rentals and seasonal graphics.
- Perforated window vinyl — one-way vision film for glass you still need to see through.
- Window clings — no adhesive at all, reusable, for short promotions on glass.
Surface preparation is the whole job
Adhesive vinyl fails for one reason: a surface that was not clean. Wash with soapy water, rinse, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Do not use household cleaners containing wax or silicone — they leave a film that adhesive cannot grip. Textured, chalky or freshly painted surfaces will not hold vinyl; painted walls need at least two weeks of cure time.
Apply between roughly 50°F and 90°F. Peel the liner back a few inches, place the top edge, then squeegee down in overlapping strokes as you remove the rest of the liner, working outward from the center of each stroke.
File setup
Build at 100–150 DPI at final size in CMYK with 0.125" bleed. Measure the target surface before ordering and allow a margin — vinyl butted hard against a frame, a rivet or a body seam will lift there first. Keep critical content 1" inside the edge.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Answers about artwork, production and ordering.
What surfaces will adhesive vinyl stick to?
Smooth, clean, sealed surfaces: glass, metal, sealed wood, laminate and satin or semi-gloss painted walls. It will not hold on textured or chalky surfaces, brick, unsealed wood, or paint applied in the last few weeks. Wash, rinse, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and dry fully — a surface that was not clean is the reason vinyl fails.
How do I apply vinyl without trapping bubbles?
Work between roughly 50°F and 90°F. Peel the liner back a few inches, align and place the top edge, then squeegee downward in overlapping strokes as you remove the rest of the liner. Work outward from the center of each stroke so air is pushed to the edge rather than trapped in the middle.
