Shipping & Turnaround

Production time and delivery time are two different things

This is the thing that causes almost every dispute in commercial print, so it is worth being blunt about it. Production time is how long it takes us to make your job. Delivery time is how long the courier takes afterwards. A job quoted at two days production and three days delivery arrives in five business days, not two.

The turnaround you pick on the product page is production time only. The delivery estimate is added at checkout once we know where it is going.

How long production takes

Every product page shows the exact turnaround options available for that item and quantity. These are the typical ranges by product family:

Product Standard production Fastest available
Business cards 2–4 business days Next business day
Flyers, postcards, brochures 4–5 business days Next business day
Yard signs and rigid signage 2–4 business days Same business day
Banners and large format 4–5 business days Next business day
Stickers 4–5 business days 4–5 business days

Rush options are not offered on every size or quantity — larger runs and some specialty stocks only run on the standard schedule. The turnaround list on the product page is always the authoritative one for what you are actually ordering.

When the clock starts

Production begins when two things are true: the order is paid, and we have print-ready artwork that has passed our file check. If your file needs a fix, the clock starts when the corrected file lands, not when you ordered. This is why we check files by hand the same day rather than the day before press.

Orders placed after our daily cut-off begin production the next business day. Weekends and public holidays are not production days.

Shipping costs

Standard shipping is free on qualifying orders over $200. Below that it is a flat rate calculated at checkout.

Large format and rigid signage — yard signs, boards, banners, magnets and boxes — ship in their own packaging from a different line, so they carry their own shipping rate and are not included in the free shipping threshold. If your order mixes both, you will see a single combined shipping figure at checkout covering each shipment.

Tracking

Tracking is emailed automatically when the job leaves us. You can also check any order from the order tracking page without an account.

Split deliveries

If you order several products with different production times, they may ship separately so the fast items are not held up by the slow ones. Your shipping charge is calculated once at checkout — a split delivery never costs you more than what you were quoted.

If something is late

Tell us. If the delay is ours we will say so and put it right. If it is with the courier we will chase it with you rather than pointing you at a tracking number and leaving you to it.

Still not sure?Ask before you order. We would rather spend five minutes now than reprint later. Talk to us
