Choose your print sides

• Printed 1 sided (4/0) — color face, white back, for panels fixed against a wall or hoarding.
• Printed 2 sided (4/4) — different artwork each face, for two directions of approach.
• Printed 2 sided — same image — identical both faces, the standard for freestanding signs.

Choose your grommet pattern

• No grommets — for H-stake mounting into soil or grass.
• Top 2 corners — hanging from hooks or a rail.
• All 4 corners — zip-tied flat to fencing.
• Real estate top only / top and bottom — sized for standard hanging frames and riders.
• Every 2–3 feet on top and bottom, sides, or all around — the correct choice on large panels, spreading wind load across many fixings instead of four.

Which thickness should you actually order?

Coroplast is sold by flute thickness, and thickness buys stiffness rather than weatherproofing — every gauge is equally waterproof. 4mm is right for weekend and short-campaign signs. 6mm handles a season outdoors and repeated handling. 8mm suits site boards and sponsor panels. 10mm is what you order when the sign is large, exposed, and expected to look straight and professional a year from now — or when it will be installed and removed dozens of times.

Installing heavy coroplast

Because 10mm is stiff, it transmits wind load straight to its fixings rather than absorbing it by flexing. Use grommets every 2 to 3 feet on panels over 24" x 48", fasten with UV-rated ties or bolts and washers, and if stake-mounting, use two H-stakes spaced across the width. Set artwork up at 100–150 DPI at final size in CMYK with 0.125" bleed, and keep critical content 1" inside the edge so grommets never punch through type.
