Yard Signs 10mm
Yard Signs 10mm
10mm coroplast yard signs — the stiffest corrugated plastic we print, for signs that behave like rigid boards. Full color on heavy-gauge coroplast in 18 sizes, with eight grommet patterns, single or double-sided printing and optional H-stakes. Ready in 4 to 5 business days.
- 10mm coroplast — maximum stiffness, minimal flex even at 48" x 48"
- Season-long outdoor installation without bowing or corner fatigue
- 18 sizes from 6" rider strips to full 48" panels
- Eight grommet patterns plus a no-grommet stake option
- Still waterproof and rustproof — all the advantages of coroplast, none of the flex
Choose your print sides
- Printed 1 sided (4/0) — color face, white back, for panels fixed against a wall or hoarding.
- Printed 2 sided (4/4) — different artwork each face, for two directions of approach.
- Printed 2 sided — same image — identical both faces, the standard for freestanding signs.
Choose your grommet pattern
- No grommets — for H-stake mounting into soil or grass.
- Top 2 corners — hanging from hooks or a rail.
- All 4 corners — zip-tied flat to fencing.
- Real estate top only / top and bottom — sized for standard hanging frames and riders.
- Every 2–3 feet on top and bottom, sides, or all around — the correct choice on large panels, spreading wind load across many fixings instead of four.
Which thickness should you actually order?
Coroplast is sold by flute thickness, and thickness buys stiffness rather than weatherproofing — every gauge is equally waterproof. 4mm is right for weekend and short-campaign signs. 6mm handles a season outdoors and repeated handling. 8mm suits site boards and sponsor panels. 10mm is what you order when the sign is large, exposed, and expected to look straight and professional a year from now — or when it will be installed and removed dozens of times.
Installing heavy coroplast
Because 10mm is stiff, it transmits wind load straight to its fixings rather than absorbing it by flexing. Use grommets every 2 to 3 feet on panels over 24" x 48", fasten with UV-rated ties or bolts and washers, and if stake-mounting, use two H-stakes spaced across the width. Set artwork up at 100–150 DPI at final size in CMYK with 0.125" bleed, and keep critical content 1" inside the edge so grommets never punch through type.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Answers about artwork, production and ordering.
Is 4mm coroplast thick enough?
For the jobs these signs are built for, yes. All coroplast is equally waterproof — thickness only buys stiffness, and 4mm is the weight yard signs print on here. It holds its shape on a stake through a campaign season, an open-house weekend or an event run, and it stores flat between uses. For a panel that has to stay rigid outdoors for a year or more, choose a rigid board rather than corrugated plastic.
Do I need grommets if I'm using ground stakes?
No — choose the no-grommets option. An H-stake works by sliding its two legs up inside the hollow flutes of the coroplast, so no holes are needed. Grommets are for hanging or zip-tying a sign to a fence. Plan on one stake per sign up to 18" x 24" and two for anything wider, and push them in by the horizontal bar rather than by pressing on the sign itself.
How big does my yard sign need to be?
Allow roughly 10 feet of readable distance for every inch of capital letter height. An 18" x 24" sign with a 3" headline reads from about 30 feet, which suits foot traffic and residential streets. For cars at 40 mph, go to 24" x 36" or larger and cut the message to five or six words.
