The paperwork that runs a field business
Invoices, work orders, delivery receipts, estimates, service tickets, inspection reports — anywhere a customer signs and both of you need a copy. The technician leaves one, keeps one, and the office gets a record without anyone touching a scanner.
How carbonless works
The sheets are coated so that pressure from your pen transfers the writing to the sheet beneath — no messy carbon sheet in between. Press firmly with a ballpoint (not a felt tip) and every copy comes through clean. Standard convention is white for the customer and a colored copy for your records.
Choose your size
- 8.5″ × 5.5″ — half-page. Receipts, service tickets, delivery slips — fits a clipboard and a glovebox.
- 8.5″ × 11″ — full letter. Detailed invoices, estimates, inspection checklists, contracts.

Ballpoint — it applies the pressure needed to transfer. Gel and felt-tip pens often won't come through to the lower copies.

Sequential numbering is commonly requested — add a note with your order and we'll confirm availability and starting number.
Single-copy pads instead?
Custom Notepads.
Matching office stationery?
Letterhead and Envelopes.

Every order gets a free file review before printing. Here's what to know about specs, artwork, proofing, and delivery.
Specifications
Quantity: 100. Configuration: Uncoated · 3 Part · 8.5 x 5.5 · 20lb Printed 1 Side (4/0) · 4 - 5 Business Days · No Numbering
Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Answers about artwork, production and ordering.
How do carbonless NCR forms work?
The back of each sheet is coated with microcapsules of dye and the front of the sheet below is coated with a reactive clay. Pressure from a pen bursts the capsules and the ink transfers, so writing on the top sheet copies itself onto every sheet beneath without any carbon paper in between.
What kind of pen do I need for NCR forms?
Use a ballpoint pen and press normally. Ballpoints concentrate pressure into a small point, which is what bursts the microcapsules. Felt tip, gel and rollerball pens spread ink without applying real pressure, so the copies come out faint or blank. This is the single most common reason people think a form set is defective.
Which sheet goes to the customer?
By convention the white top sheet is the original and goes to the customer, and the colored sheets underneath stay with you for filing. Number and label each part in your artwork (Customer Copy, Office Copy, File Copy) so nobody has to guess at the counter.
