Choose your printing

Kraft is brown, so ink behaves differently than on white stock. Here's what each option does:

• Full color, front only (4/0) — standard printing on the kraft face. Colors take on a warm, vintage cast.
• Full color, both sides (4/4) — the same, front and back.
• White ink only, front (1/0) — white ink on bare kraft, like chalk on slate. The classic artisan look, and the most striking contrast kraft can give.
• White ink only, both sides (1/1) — white-on-kraft on the front and back.
• Full color + white underlay, front (5/0) — a white base is printed first, then color on top. This is how you get true, bright brand colors on brown paper instead of muted ones.
• Color + white front, color back (5/4) — vivid true-color front, standard warm-cast back.
• Color + white, both sides (5/5) — true-color brightness on both faces. The premium setup.

Rule of thumb: want the rustic kraft look? Choose white ink only. Need your exact brand color to survive? Choose a white underlay option.

Why would I need white ink?
Regular ink is translucent — on brown kraft, light colors nearly disappear. White ink prints opaque, either as your design itself or as a base layer under color.
