Where removable decals make sense
Office branding and wall quotes, retail interior graphics that change with the season, restaurant and cafe murals, gym and studio motivational graphics, classroom and clinic wall art, trade-show booth walls, and any rented space where a permanent graphic is not allowed. They are also the sensible choice for anything tied to a campaign or a date — a graphic you know is coming down should never be applied with permanent adhesive.
What surfaces work — and what does not
Removable vinyl needs a smooth, sealed, fully cured surface. Satin, eggshell and semi-gloss painted drywall are ideal. Glass, sealed wood, metal and laminate all work well.
What does not work: flat or matte paint (the adhesive pulls the paint film off), textured or orange-peel drywall, brick, unsealed wood, and any wall painted in the last three to four weeks. If in doubt, apply a small piece in an inconspicuous corner, leave it 24 hours, and remove it before committing to a large graphic.
Applying and removing cleanly
Wipe the wall with a damp cloth and let it dry fully — dust is the main cause of edges lifting. Peel the liner back a few inches, place the top edge, then squeegee downward with overlapping strokes as you remove the rest of the liner, working from the center of each stroke outward.
To remove, lift a corner and pull slowly back on itself at a shallow angle, ideally after warming the vinyl with a hair dryer on low. Pulling fast, or straight out from the wall, is what takes paint with it.
Removable or permanent?
If the graphic is going on glass, an exterior surface or equipment, and it is meant to stay, use glossy adhesive vinyl instead — the stronger bond is what you want there. Removable vinyl is specifically an interior, temporary product, and the tradeoff for clean removal is that it is less tolerant of moisture, dirt and imperfect surfaces.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Will removable wall decals damage my paint?
Not on satin, eggshell or semi-gloss paint that has fully cured for at least three to four weeks. They will pull the paint film off flat or matte paint, and they will not stick to textured drywall or brick at all. Test a small piece in an inconspicuous spot for 24 hours before committing to a large graphic.
How do I remove a wall decal cleanly?
Warm the vinyl with a hair dryer on low, lift a corner, then pull slowly back on itself at a shallow angle rather than straight out from the wall. Pulling fast, cold or perpendicular is what takes paint with it. Any faint adhesive haze wipes off with isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth.
How do I apply vinyl without trapping bubbles?
Work between roughly 50°F and 90°F. Peel the liner back a few inches, align and place the top edge, then squeegee downward in overlapping strokes as you remove the rest of the liner. Work outward from the center of each stroke so air is pushed to the edge rather than trapped in the middle.
