Design tips that keep it usable
- Keep a clear typing zone — leave at least 1″ of clean space at the top below your logo band and 0.5″ at the sides so your printed text never collides with the design.
- Watch the bottom edge — most office printers can't print to the very bottom of a sheet, so keep footer contact details at least 0.5″ up.
- Two-sided? Print terms and conditions or a services list on the back — professional and saves an enclosure.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

What paper is FlashyPrint letterhead printed on?
Standard letterhead prints on 60lb uncoated text stock at 8.5" x 11". It is an uncoated sheet on purpose: it takes ballpoint, gel and fountain pen without smearing, and it runs cleanly through office laser and inkjet printers when you add letters, invoices or contracts on top of your printed design.
Can I run my printed letterhead back through my office printer?
Yes. That is exactly what letterhead is for. Keep your design in the top and bottom bands and leave the middle of the page clear so your typed text lands on white paper. Leave at least a 0.5" margin at the bottom edge, since most desktop printers cannot print all the way to the edge of the sheet.
What else should I order to match my letterhead?
Most businesses pair letterhead with custom envelopes so the mailing piece matches the letter inside, and with business cards printed from the same logo files. Ordering them together keeps colors consistent across the whole stationery set.
