Who the econo flag is for

Businesses that want height and constant movement out on grass, soil or a planter bed, and anyone lining a frontage, a lot or an event entrance with a row of flags. Popular with car lots, tire and auto shops, food trucks, restaurants, furniture and mattress stores, real estate, churches, sports clubs and seasonal sales such as pumpkins and Christmas trees.

Econo or standard feather flag

The econo flag keeps things simple: one 16 ft size, single sided only, and a ground stake for grass, soil and planters. If you need double sided printing, a different height, a cross or square base for concrete, or a carry bag, choose the standard feather flag instead.

Single sided, standard or reversed

The ink goes through the fabric, so the back of the flag shows the same design mirrored and a little lighter. On the standard version the pole sleeve is on the left of the print when you look at the front. On the reversed version the sleeve is on the right, so you can point the readable side toward most of your traffic. Both cost the same.

Setting up your artwork

Download the template for your pole side and design on the artwork layer. Send a single page PDF or JPEG in CMYK at 150 dpi, up to 300MB, with no crop marks and no bleed. Convert spot colours to CMYK and fonts to outlines. Keep text away from the pole sleeve and the fluttering top corner, and use big, bold words: two to four words read best from a moving car. We check every file before it prints, or our team can design it for you.

Set up and care

Push the ground stake into soft ground or a planter, join the poles, slide the flag over the pole and pull the cord at the bottom tight so the flag sits smooth. Hand wash or machine wash cold on gentle and hang to dry, with no bleach, tumble dryer or iron. Take the flag down in storms and very high winds.
