Canvas Roll Prints

Canvas prints turn a photograph or a piece of artwork into a gallery-style wall piece. Printed full color on canvas in 25 sizes up to 96" x 48", with an optional 1" white wrap edge for stretcher-frame mounting. Ready in 4 to 5 business days.

Do you need the 1 inch white wrap?

  • Yes — add the wrap if you are stretching the canvas over wooden stretcher bars. The extra inch of white canvas on every edge is what wraps around the frame and gets stapled to the back. Without it, your image itself would have to fold around the edge and you would lose an inch of the picture on all four sides.
  • No wrap if the canvas is going into a flat frame, being mounted to a board, or you plan to hang it as a loose banner. Choose this and the print is edge-to-edge image with no white border.

Choosing a size for the wall

A common mistake is going too small. As a guide, a piece over a sofa or bed should span roughly two-thirds of the furniture width — which for a standard three-seat sofa means 48" or wider, not 24". For a feature wall on its own, 36" x 48" reads as a statement; 24" x 36" reads as a picture. The long panoramic sizes — 72", 84" and 96" wide by 12" to 24" tall — are made for corridors, above headboards and behind reception desks where height is limited.

Preparing an image for canvas

Canvas is unforgiving of low-resolution files because the print is large and viewers stand close. Supply the highest-resolution original you have; aim for at least 150 DPI at final size. Slightly increase contrast and saturation compared with what looks right on screen — the canvas texture softens fine detail and absorbs a little color.

If you are adding the wrap, keep all essential content — faces, horizons, text — at least 2" inside the image edge, because the outer inch disappears around the frame and the inch behind it sits on the frame's corner radius.

Artwork requirements

Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.

Proofing and production

Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Do I need the 1 inch white wrap on my canvas?
