Matte Paper Digital Sheets 12×18
Matte Paper Digital Sheets 12×18
12" x 18" press sheets on 100LB text with a matte coating — substantial paper, no glare, easy on the eyes. Full color on one or both sides, shipped uncut so you finish them your way. Ready in 2 to 4 business days.
- 100LB text weight — heavy enough to feel like a real printed piece, not a photocopy
- Matte coating that eliminates glare under office and retail lighting
- Readable in any light — the reason matte wins for text-heavy layouts
- 12" x 18" untrimmed sheets for in-house cutting and finishing
- 2 to 4 business day turnaround
One side or both sides?
- Printed one side (4/0) — color front, blank back, for mounted pieces, notices and inserts.
- Printed both sides (4/4) — color front and back, for handouts, menus and multi-panel pieces.
Matte or gloss — how to decide
Matte is the right call whenever the piece is mostly words. A matte surface scatters light instead of reflecting it, so long paragraphs stay comfortable to read under fluorescent office lighting or bright retail spotlights, and there is no hot spot bouncing off the page when someone holds it at an angle. Matte also reads as more restrained and editorial, which is why report covers, professional service materials and text-led menus tend to use it.
If the piece is built around photography and you want maximum color punch, glossy paper sheets use the same 100LB stock with a gloss surface and reproduce images with more depth.
Getting the most from these sheets
Set the file up at the full 12" x 18" sheet size, 300 DPI, CMYK, with 0.125" bleed on any edge-to-edge color and 0.25" of safe margin for anything that must not be cut. When ganging multiple pieces on one sheet, allow a gutter between them and mark your own cut lines on a separate layer.
One practical note: the matte coating accepts pencil and most ballpoint inks reasonably well, but it is still a coated surface — if the piece needs to be written on heavily, an uncoated stock such as recycled paper sheets will take pen far better.

Specifications
Quantity: 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 2500, 5000. Configuration: Standard
Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Answers about artwork, production and ordering.
Should I choose matte paper or glossy paper?
Choose matte for text-heavy pieces read under office or retail lighting — the surface scatters light so there is no hot spot on the page. Choose glossy when the piece is built around photography and you want maximum color depth. Both use the same 100LB stock, so the weight in hand is identical.
Are digital sheets cut to size?
No. They ship as full 12" x 18" sheets, untrimmed. That is the point of the product: you cut, score, fold and finish them yourself, at whatever size your project needs. If you want the piece delivered finished and ready to use, order the equivalent product from our catalog instead.
What file format should I supply for a 12 x 18 sheet?
A print-ready PDF is best. Build the document at the full 12" x 18" sheet size, 300 DPI, CMYK color, with 0.125" bleed on any edge-to-edge color and 0.25" of safe margin for content that must not be cut. Outline your fonts or embed them so nothing reflows.
