Matte Cardstock Digital Sheets 12×18
Matte Cardstock Digital Sheets 12×18
Full 12" x 18" press sheets printed on 14PT matte cardstock — for anyone who wants to do their own cutting, scoring and finishing. Order them printed one side or both sides, full color, with a matte coating that kills glare and takes a pencil or pen mark. Ready in 4 to 5 business days.
- 14PT cardstock — the same rigid card used for premium business cards and tent cards
- Matte finish for a low-glare, easy-to-read surface
- Large 12" x 18" format — gang up multiple pieces on one sheet and trim them yourself
- One-sided or two-sided full-color printing
One side or both sides?
- Printed one side (4/0) — full color on the front, blank on the back. Choose this for signage, backing cards, hang tags with a plain reverse, or anything that will be mounted to another surface.
- Printed both sides (4/4) — full color front and back. Choose this when both faces will be seen: shelf talkers, standees, table signs, cards that carry details on the reverse.
Who orders digital sheets
Digital sheets are for people who want printing without the finishing. Designers and studios use them to prototype a package or a card before committing to a production run. Event teams use them for one-off signage that gets cut to whatever size the frame happens to be. Small manufacturers gang several different labels or inserts onto one sheet and trim them in-house, which is far cheaper than ordering each piece as its own job.
Because they arrive as flat, untrimmed sheets, you control the final size, the shape and the finishing. If you would rather we cut it for you, the standard products in our catalog come trimmed to size and ready to use.
Setting up a 12 x 18 sheet
Build your file at the full 12" x 18" sheet size at 300 DPI in CMYK. Add 0.125" bleed if any color runs to the sheet edge, and keep critical content at least 0.25" inside the edge. If you are ganging multiple pieces on one sheet, draw your own crop marks in a separate layer and leave enough gutter between pieces that a slightly imperfect cut does not clip a neighbor.
Digital printing means color is consistent sheet to sheet within a run, but if you reorder months later expect a very slight shift — order the full quantity you need in one go for anything color-critical.

Artwork requirements
Upload print-ready files as PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, JPG, or PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK color. Extend backgrounds 0.125" past the trim edge (bleed) and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside it (safe area). Every file is checked by our team before production — if something's off, we'll contact you before anything prints.
Proofing and production
Production time starts after your artwork passes file review — not at checkout. If your order requires proof approval, we'll send the proof and the production clock starts once you approve it. Turnaround options for each product are shown in the configurator above.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery time is production time plus transit. Once your order ships you'll get a tracking number by email. Transit depends on your address and the shipping method selected at checkout — larger format items may ship separately from small-format printing.

Answers about artwork, production and ordering.
How thick is 14PT cardstock?
14PT means fourteen thousandths of an inch — roughly the thickness of a standard premium business card. It is rigid enough to stand on its own in a tent or a table sign and stiff enough for hang tags, but still cuts and scores cleanly with normal shop equipment.
Are digital sheets cut to size?
No. They ship as full 12" x 18" sheets, untrimmed. That is the point of the product: you cut, score, fold and finish them yourself, at whatever size your project needs. If you want the piece delivered finished and ready to use, order the equivalent product from our catalog instead.
What file format should I supply for a 12 x 18 sheet?
A print-ready PDF is best. Build the document at the full 12" x 18" sheet size, 300 DPI, CMYK color, with 0.125" bleed on any edge-to-edge color and 0.25" of safe margin for content that must not be cut. Outline your fonts or embed them so nothing reflows.
