That is their strength: when a campaign changes every few weeks, printing on paper and taping or framing it costs a fraction of producing rigid boards, and there is nothing to store when the promotion ends. Cinemas, gyms, music venues, campus notice boards, retail windows and restaurant interiors all run on exactly this model.

Because the stock is paper, keep posters indoors or behind glass. Give the headline the top third and enough size to read across a room, put the essential detail — date, price, address — in the middle at a size readable from a few feet, and keep everything else small. Build at 150 DPI at final size in CMYK with 0.125" bleed, and keep content 0.5" inside the trim in case the poster goes into a frame.

Specs at a glance

Stock: 8pt C2S coated poster paper

Printing: full color, 1 sided (4/0)

Sizes: 28 options, 6" x 24" through 48" x 48"

Use: indoor

Turnaround: 4 to 5 business days after artwork approval

Large Format Posters FAQ

Sizing, stock and indoor-use answers are below.
